Lord Fortune 2 Hold and Win Review
The original Lord Fortune Hold and Win slot was a decent enough game, though perhaps not good enough to warrant a follow-up slot. Yet, here we are, as 3 Oaks decided that there’s at least some demand for such a game. The good news is that this release is much juicier than the previous one in essentially all regards, though the playing field is exactly the same, featuring 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 paylines.
The theme of Lord Fortune 2 Hold and Win will bring you to an Asian court of sorts, and you’ll meet a number of charismatic characters on the reels. The game’s production values are above average, and we like how much of a presence some of the symbols have in the grand scheme of things. If you like Asian-themed slots, you’ll like this one as well, though it’s naturally not for everyone.
Lord Fortune 2 Hold and Win Slot – Reels Screen
The volatility of Lord Fortune 2 Hold and Win is high, and its Grand jackpot is worth 5,000x your bet. That’s a decent enough target, and you can aim for it with stakes between £0.20 and £30. The slot’s theoretical RTP is then 95.49%, which is two notches below average.
Lord Fortune 2 Hold and Win Slot Features
There are 8 pay symbols in Lord Fortune 2 Hold and Win, and they are split evenly between low pays and high pays. For low pays, there are card ranks from Jacks to Aces, and those are worth 2x your bet for five-of-a-kind combinations. For high pays, there are thematic symbols with scrolls, treasure chests, wise men and female characters. Female characters are worth the most, and you’ll get a 10x payout for a set of 5.
There are three special symbols in the mix – Lord Wilds, Bell Scatters and Orb Bonus symbols. Lord Wilds are the most straightforward of those, as they can substitute for other symbols in winning combinations.
Lord Fortune 2 Hold and Win Slot – Hold and Win Feature
To get to the Hold and Win feature, you have to find at least 6 Orb Bonus symbols in view. This time around, it works a bit differently than what you’re used to. You’ll get 6 respins to start with, and you’ll have to find special +1 symbols to get more. That’s right, there are no automatic resets in this Hold and Win feature, but the objective is still the same. You have to fill the entire board with symbols before running out of respins, as that will get you the Grand jackpot, which is worth 5,000x your bet.
Even without that, you’ll collect all values in view after you run out of respins for a nice win. Also, there are two unique symbols that you can find in the Hold and Win feature. First, there are Collect symbols, which collect all standard values in view upon landing. Second, there are Super Collect symbols, which collect all values in view (including Collect symbols) upon landing.
Land 3 or more Bell Scatters to trigger the Free Spins feature with 8 free spins. You can get more free spins by landing additional sets of Bell Scatters, but the main twist comes in the form of Power Wilds. These symbols work as both Wilds and win multipliers, and you can even get more than just one involved in a winning combination. If you do, their win multipliers will multiply each other before they get applied!
You can also use the Buy Bonus option and purchase either of the aforementioned features for 50x your bet.

Review Summary
When you put everything together, it should be easy to see that Lord Fortune 2 Hold and Win is an enjoyable Hold and Win slot. Getting to its bonus features isn’t particularly difficult, and you can even buy them outright. Both are fun, too, and the 5,000x win potential is fair as well. It’s therefore a bit of a shame that the game’s RTP isn’t at least a bit better, as it could’ve been a real cracker with that bit improved.

- Hold and Win with Collect and Super Collect symbols
